Peritoneal dialysis is a kidney failure therapy that uses the lining of your abdomen, or belly, to filter the blood within your body. The medical word for this lining is peritoneum. A few weeks before you start peritoneal dialysis, a surgeon places a thin tube called a catheter in your belly. Water with salt and other additives flows from a bag into your belly through a catheter when you initially start dialysis. When the bag is empty, you disconnect it and cover your catheter with a cap, which allows you to go around and resume your normal activities. For more details please contact us 9810153768.
